Ding Ding round 2

This weekend is the second round of the playoffs and if you ask me all of the games are a must watch obviously thats how they want it come playoff time but if you look back at when these teams played each other in the regular season every game was decided by 3 points, every game except the last Jets vs Pats game which was a blow out but the first time they played the Jets won so i have faith this will be a much better game then the last time these 2 teams met. Well lets just get right to it, since we are already on the subject of Jets vs. Pats ill go ahead and start with them, I am going to take the Pats in this game, for one Tom Brady is playing at the level on he and maybe 2 or 3 other QB's in the league can play at, also the pats have Belichick and i know Rex Ryan is a good coach but with a coach/QB combo like Belichick and Brady and you play them more then once i have to give them the edge, unless the Jets throw some competly new defense at Brady and the Hoodie i think its a huge advantage for the Pats having a coach as smart as the hoodie and a qb who will destroy you if he has any hint of what defense your running and since Brady seems to know what play defenses are running better then they do i really dont see the Jets stopping the Pats offense and while the Jets might be able to have SOME success on the ground i dont think they will be able to run as well as they did against Indy and i think that will force the Sanchize to make plays and to be perfect and i just dont think he is capable of caring a team on his back like Brady or some of the other elite QB's in the league, i know usually the Jets can rely on their great defense and run game to kinda mask the Sanchize's mistakes but i think that Brady has the Jets defense's number and i think he will pick them apart all day and i think it will make Mark panic and i think he loses this one for the Jets, im gunna say the Pats win big 27-9.

Ok i know i was saying how the way this NFL season was going that a big underdog would win at least one game every week and this week the only big dog is the Seahawks and everyone knows how much i hate the Bears and how many times i have picked them to get upset by weaker teams, that being said i am gunna have to take the Bears in this one, the only reason is cause i know that their defense will put on a much better showing then the Saints defense did that much is for sure, on the other side of the ball is where i am a little worried for the Bears, i know Cutler can be a good QB if he chooses to be, sometimes he tries to force throws or wont go with the check down for a few yards he'll try and hit someone down field in double coverage, but as long as he stays within himself and realizes hey i dont need to score everytime we have t he ball our defense is outstanding and even if we come up short here i am confident that they will get me the ball back or maybe even put up some points of there own, and thats why i am taking the Bears here, because they dont have to rely on Cutler to win them the game, all that being said i wont be surprised if the Seahawks come in to Soilder Field and steal one from the Bears but the only way they are gunna do that is to get pressure on Cutler and make him make mistakes if they can do that and have no turnovers from their offense and if they can get a decent game out of Lynch then i think the Seahawks have a chance but for them to pull it off they will have to play perfect on the offensive side of the ball and they will have to make Cutler make mistakes on the other side of the ball if they can do that then they have a rreally good shot at winning this game, BUT i still am taking the Bears in this one.  20-19 the bears squeek by the Seahawks.

The Steelers vs. The Ravens is probably going to be the best game of the weekend it is the one i am most looking forward to watching only because the teams are so similar and both times they met this year it was decided by 3 points and both teams have won a game so its 1-1 this game is the tie breaker for the year and what a better stage then the divisonal round of the playoff. I really like the Steelers and the talent they have on both sides of the ball, the thing is i just think this year is the Ravens year, they made the moves in the offseason to put them just a hair above the Steelers as far as the talent they have on their roster, i know the Steelers are good but to me this year they arent the same as the Steelers of the past i think that the Ravens are on fire right now i know it will be hard for either team to get a running game going but if either team does get a good run game going then they will obviously have the upper hand in the game, but the thing is if the Ravens dont get a run game going they can kill you with their pass attack, and Ray Rice can catch balls out of the back field which is a sub for the running game, both teams have outstanding defenses but i think the Ravens are just a little more hungry this year then the Steelers, plus if the Steelers cant get their run game going they pretty much only have Mike Wallace who dont get me wrong is amazing but the Ravens have Ed Reed back there to compensate for Wallace's speed, i think this will be a low scoring game and i think that while the Steelers will make it intresting i think the Ravens edge them out in OT, Ravens 24 steelers 21

Last but for sure not even close to least is the Packers vs. the Falcons, and i know that everyone knows who i am picking, and since the Falcons are favored in this one this will be my underdog pick of the week, i am taking the Packers to win IN ATL, the reason for this is 1. A-Rog has seen the Falcons defense once this year so i am sure he knows more about them now then he did the first time they played this year. 2. the Packers now have a run game which they did not have the first time these 2 teams met during the season. 3. The way the Packers lost to them earlier was ridiclous i would have been ok with them losing if it went in to OT like it was supposed to and they lost there but no they got a weak special teams play and a flag to pretty much start them in field goal range with like less then a minute left. for those 3 reason i am  taking the Packers also because i think the lay off the Falcons had will play a part, also i think the Packers defense will come up with a huge stop and i think they win in the last 2 minutes of regulaton, i think Aaron Rodgers takes them down field and wins it in the last second of the game. Packers 28 Falcons 24
